About Us

The RCDI - ONGD is a non-profit organization of development in the DR. Congo that aims to contribute to the moral as well as spiritual development of the populations in particular, the idle women, the teenage mother and the orphans. As part of our mission, we address certain areas such as: family poverty, community health, civic and political education, promotion of women rights etc...

Our History

The RCDI - ONGD was created in the United States, precisely in the State of Illinois, in the city of Urbana, dated in April of 2015 with a focus on providing help and many other different assistance to orphans, widows, poor families as well as sick people hospitalized or in critical condition at different hospitals in the DR. Congo. We have been taking care of 42 orphans and 37 widows including single mothers within our organization and we are still looking to expand those numbers in the near future!

The Drive behind What We Do

Because of social and economic matters as well as the substantial hunger issues in certain parts of the Congo, The RCDI has been dedicated and committed to fighting hunger and unhealthy nutrition consumption for the people in our community. We work diligently to ensure food security in rural and urban areas through increased agricultural and livestock production.

Our Vision &
Goals

The goals and objectives of the RCDI has always been to improve the social, physical, moral and spiritual conditions of our people. With that in mind, we have been working extremely hard to provide good quality nutrition, educational assistance as well as improving living conditions in certain areas across the region by providing sanitary supplies and other hygiene items and products. Each year, the RCDI holds annual donations services across the region!
